Hello out there! I am so excited to start getting this idea off the ground. There have been lots of hurdles. 

My ultimate goal of this blog and new business adventure I’m starting is to take all of my work and life experiences and combining them with what I love to do. And, that is to create. I have always wanted to be an artist but because I was really, really good at math in school I was told I couldn’t be. Also, because of that math aptitude it would take over and try to make me be very practical and try to do stuff that was a more stable path. However, I am also a lover of learning and would take all kinds of classes which is practical but I loved to do everything so I could never settle on just one path. I have done accounting (was a comptroller once) where I would write checks for hundreds of thousands of dollars. I worked in the crafting publishing industry creating and writing instructions.  I have been an administrative assistant at a community college where I did a lot of computer work and eventually got a few computer degrees and certificates. Then I decided to do master’s program in Instructional Technology and Design and that’s what I do for my day job. I use my creativity there, too, but it’s just not enough. I need to be around color, shapes, textures, and coming up with creative projects. 

Because of my education background I am going to be creating content to share with you on how to do stuff. I’ve got loads of projects in the pipeline. In the meantime you can always check out my crazy output of designs on the various places I have been creating over in the side bar under the title Marketplace.
